Additional Early Physiotherapy After Stroke May Improve Functional Recovery, Study Finds

Patients in the AEP group made better functional recovery at 30 days than those in the RT group, according to the MBI. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that cognitive disturbance, aphasia, double incontinence, site of lesion and sensory impairment might affect functional recovery after stroke.
